# Postman Private Cloud

Postman Private Cloud (PPC) is a dedicated, single-tenant deployment that Postman manages on your behalf. It's built for regulated and enterprise organizations that need greater control over where their data is stored and how it's handled.

## About Postman Private Cloud

PPC extends Postman's platform security to give customers in highly regulated industries the assurances their compliance teams require. It offers the capabilities of the standard Postman platform with some exceptions. See [Feature availability](#feature-availability) for details.

## Purchase a Postman Private Cloud plan

To purchase a Postman Private Cloud plan, contact the [Postman sales team](https://www.postman.com/company/contact-sales/). After you purchase your plan, the Postman team will help set up Postman Private Cloud for your organization.

## Feature availability

Postman Private Cloud includes most of the features available in the standard Postman platform, with some differences due to the private cloud deployment. The following features aren't available in Postman Private Cloud:

* Legacy and partner-built integrations
* Partner Workspaces for partners without EU Postman deployments
* Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) Encryption for collection runs
* Live Sessions
* Postman API Network
* Fern API documentation and SDKs
* Postman Flows
* Newman CLI
* Performance Testing
* Monitors
* SDK & CLI Generator
* Account Switcher

## Postman Private Cloud setup

After you purchase a Postman Private Cloud plan, the Postman support team installs and configures your private cloud environment. As a customer, you need to configure SSO (single sign-on) and SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) for your organization to manage authentication and access.

To set up SSO, you need to contact the Postman support team and do the following:

1. Provide your identity provider (IdP) metadata file to Postman. Postman adds this information to your private cloud environment.
2. Postman in turn provides you with the service provider (SP) metadata file. Add this to your identity provider configuration when you set up SSO. To learn more, see [Intro to SSO](/docs/administration/sso/intro-sso).
3. Once you've set up SSO, you can [provision SCIM](/docs/administration/scim-provisioning/scim-provisioning-overview/). To configure and enable SCIM, use the following URL:

   ```
   https://api-public.<PPC_ENVIRONMENT_NAME>.postmanlabs.com/scim/v2/Users
   ```

   Replace `<PPC_ENVIRONMENT_NAME>` with the name of your Postman Private Cloud environment. For example, if your environment name is `acme`, the SCIM URL would be:

   ```
   https://api-public.acme.postmanlabs.com/scim/v2/Users
   ```

Once everything is correctly configured, your organization's users can authenticate using SSO and have their accounts managed through SCIM.
