Once you create your Postman account, you can customize [your Postman profile](https://go.postman.co/me) and share about yourself and your best work.
To start, you can upload a profile picture and cover, edit your display name and username, and add a short bio. You can also add links to your website and social media.
Your public profile includes links to your Postman teams and all your public collections, APIs, and workspaces. There's also an **Activity feed** that lists your public activities in chronological order. Additionally, you can add an **About Me** section and curate a **Highlights** section.

## Make your profile public
By default, your profile is visible to you and your team. You can make your profile public and share about yourself and your work.
To make your profile public, do the following:
1. From the Postman header, click your profile picture. Then, click **View Profile**.
2. Click **Edit Profile**.
3. Select **Make my profile public**.
4. Click **Update Profile**.
## Update your profile
In addition to making your profile public, you can also update your profile picture and cover, display name and username, and public profile (such as your bio, website, and GitHub username).
To update your profile, do the following:
1. From the Postman header, click your profile picture. Then, click **View Profile**.
2. Click **Edit Profile**.
3. Edit the information you want to update.
4. Click **Update Profile**.
## Update your about me
Once you make your profile public, you can update your about me. Your about me is a chance for you to share about yourself and your API journey.
To update your about me, do the following:
1. From the Postman header, click your profile picture. Then, click **View Profile**.
2. Click **View public profile**.
3. In the **About Me** section, click **Add About Me** or the edit icon 
. Use the formatting bar in the Postman editor to format your text. If you prefer Markdown, click **Postman editor** 
and select **Markdown editor**.
4. Click **Save**.
## Update your highlights
Once you make your profile public and you've created publicly available work, you can update your highlights. Your highlights are a chance for you to showcase your best work, whether that's an API, collection, or workspace.
To update your highlights, do the following:
1. From the Postman header, click your profile picture. Then, click **View Profile**.
2. Click **View public profile**.
3. In the **Highlights** section, click the edit icon .
4. To remove an item, click 
. If you remove all items, Postman will choose your most popular items.
5. To add an item, click **APIs**, **Collections**, **Workspaces**, or any other available element, and click an item. If you want to search for items, enter your search term in search.
6. Click **Save Highlights**.
