Guide them to their first 200 OK response with your hands-on, real-world examples, and showcase your public API to the world. Before you publish your notebook, open your draft and review it. Walk yourself through the steps you outlined in your notebook. Then, invite others on your team to do the same. Protect your sensitive data. If Postman detects any API keys, tokens, or similar, it replaces them with placeholders. To learn more, see [Postman Secret Scanner](/docs/administration/managing-your-team/secret-scanner/overview/). ## Publish your notebook You must be a [community manager](/docs/administration/roles-and-permissions#team-roles) to publish your notebook. To publish your notebook, do the following: 1. In the Postman header, open the navigation menu. Then, click Published icon **Public API Network**. 2. Click Notebook icon **Notebooks**. Postman displays your team's published and unpublished notebooks. 3. Next to your draft, click Edit icon **Edit this notebook**. 4. If you haven't already, click **Preview** and review your draft. Click **Edit** to make changes. 5. Click **Publish**. Postman asks you to confirm. 6. If you're ready to make your notebook public, click **Publish**. Postman publishes your notebook to the Postman API Network. Share it with your API consumers and followers on social media.
