[Akamai EdgeGrid](https://techdocs.akamai.com/home/) is an authorization helper developed and used by Akamai.

To use Akamai EdgeGrid, do the following:

1. In the **Authorization** tab for a request, select **Akamai EdgeGrid** from the **Auth Type** dropdown list.
2. Enter your **Access Token**, **Client Token**, and **Client Secret**, using variables for extra security. You will receive these details when you register a client application with Akamai.
3. Enter any information you need in the **Advanced configuration** section. Setting the fields in this section is optional. Postman generates default values in these fields automatically when your request runs.
