## You are experiencing one of the following issues

* I’m unable to see collections and any of my data after moving from the [Scratch Pad](/docs/getting-started/basics/using-scratch-pad/) to the [lightweight API client](/docs/getting-started/basics/using-api-client/) or a Postman account.
* I was on the [Scratch Pad](/docs/getting-started/basics/using-scratch-pad/), and my app updated. Now, I can’t see my collections or any other of my data.
* I lost my environment variables after migrating from the Scratch Pad.
* I lost my requests after migrating from the Scratch Pad.

## What to expect

* The [lightweight API client](/docs/getting-started/basics/using-api-client/) doesn't have collections and environments.
* The [migration option](/docs/getting-started/basics/using-api-client/#moving-from-the-lightweight-api-client-to-a-workspace) is available when you [sign in to Postman](/docs/getting-started/first-steps/sign-up-for-postman/) from the Scratch Pad.
* Only your [History](/docs/getting-started/basics/navigating-postman/#history) migrates when switching to the lightweight API Client from Scratchpad.

## Unblock yourself

### You’re using the lightweight API Client and can't see your data

Export your data from Settings > **Data** in the lightweight API client.

* **Note:** To import them, [sign in to a Postman account](/docs/getting-started/first-steps/sign-up-for-postman/).

### You’re signed in to a Postman account and can't see your data

1. Make sure they’re using the [most recent version of Postman](https://www.postman.com/downloads/) . The migration option is available on a version above v10.14.
2. Go to Settings > Data > **Migrate data** .
