Welcome to the Postman Docs! This is the place to find official information on how to use Postman in your API projects, whether you work in the desktop app, the web app, the command line with the Postman CLI, or through a coding agent using installed agent skills.

Postman is also usable entirely through the [Postman CLI](/docs/postman-cli/postman-cli-overview/), without the desktop or web app. Run `postman init` in a repository to install [agent skills](/docs/postman-cli/postman-cli-init/#agent-skills) (a `SKILL.md` per skill, plus a root `AGENTS.md`) that teach you how to build and test APIs with the CLI.
