The Postman Insights Agent listens to the traffic arriving at the cluster service you want to monitor and automatically populates your Insights project with endpoints.

To use the Insights Agent with Kubernetes, you can install it as a [DaemonSet](/docs/insights/get-started/kubernetes/daemonset/) or [sidecar](/docs/insights/get-started/kubernetes/sidecar/).

  If you're installing the Insights Agent through a DevOps team or on more than one service, Postman recommends the DaemonSet installation.
