# Observe your APIs in Postman

Postman helps you observe API health, performance, errors, and organizational
trends with the API Catalog, Postman Insights, and reports.

## API Catalog

The API Catalog gives you a centralized view of APIs and services across your
organization. Connect Postman to your source code and cloud services to discover
APIs, then explore ownership, dependencies, endpoint health, CI/CD results, and
specification quality. You can also create governance groups to apply different
API standards to different parts of your organization.

## Postman Insights

Postman Insights observes live API traffic and automatically provides endpoint
metrics and errors in near real-time. Install the Insights Agent alongside your
services to discover endpoints, investigate errors and latency, and reproduce
failing API calls with request and response context. You can customize how
Insights processes traffic and control how it handles your data.

## Reports

Postman reports help you understand how your organization uses Postman and
manages APIs. Review workspace activity, API lifecycle coverage, Agent Mode
usage, team and plan data, API governance results, and findings from the Secret
Scanner. Use these reports to identify trends and decide where your organization
needs to take action.
