Create an interactive article to guide your API consumers to their first 200 OK response. Or create a notebook to document one of your public API's most popular use cases. Collaborate with your team to bring together your best ideas.

Your notebooks are linked to your team. If you need to [switch teams](/docs/collaborating-in-postman/use-teams/#switch-between-teams), in the upper-right corner, click your avatar and switch to your team. Then, you're ready to [create a notebook](https://www.postman.com/notebook/new).

## Create a notebook

To create a notebook, do the following:

1. In the Postman header, open the navigation menu. Then, click <img alt="Published icon" src="https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/aether-icons/v12/state-published-stroke.svg#icon" width="20px" /> **Public API Network**.
2. In the bottom-left corner, click <img alt="Add icon" src="https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/aether-icons/v12/action-add-stroke.svg#icon" width="20px" /> **Create New**.
3. Click <img alt="Notebook icon" src="https://assets.postman.com/postman-docs/aether-icons/v12/entity-notebook-stroke.svg#icon" width="20px" /> **Notebook**.
