How to stop auto-renewal for your Postman subscription

Built with
  • What is Postman AI?

Postman AI brings intelligent automation directly into your API workflows. It helps you design, debug, test, and document APIs faster by leveraging AI to understand context and perform meaningful actions in your workspace.

  • What is Agent Mode?

Agent Mode is Postman’s hands-on AI development partner. Instead of just explaining what to do, Agent Mode takes action inside your workspace by building requests, writing tests, generating documentation, and more.

  • Is Agent Mode included in all plans?

Agent Mode is available on free and paid plans.

  • What are Postman AI credits, and where can they be used?

Every AI-powered action in Agent Mode uses credits based on the amount of compute required, whether the action involves generating or refining a request, writing a test, or creating documentation. Each time Agent Mode completes an AI action, credits are deducted.

When Agent Mode creates or updates a Postman asset (for example, a request, test, or documentation), the action is billed at a discounted credit rate. This discount helps you get more value from Agent Mode while working in Postman.

  • What are the AI credit limits for my plan?
PlanAI CreditsPay-as-you-go-Pricing
Free50 per user/monthNot Available
Solo400 per user/month$.05 per credit
Team400 per user/month$.04 per credit
Basic400 per user/month$.035 per credit
Professional400 per user/month$.03 per credit
Enterprise800 per user/month (pooled across the team)$.035 per credit (volume pricing available, contact your sales representative for more details)
  • How can I view Agent Mode usage on my team?

Go to Team Settings → Resource Usage → AI Credit Details to view total usage and accrued pay-as-you-go costs for the current billing cycle.

  • How can I purchase more AI credits for my team?

Free: You can purchase the Postman AI Add-on, which includes 400 monthly credits per user. After those credits are used, you can continue with pay-as-you-go billing.

Paid Plans: Teams on these plans automatically move to pay-as-you-go billing once their included AI credits are used. Pay-as-you-go usage is managed by the billing users for the team.

  • What does “enabling pay-as-you-go” actually mean?

Billing users can enable pay-as-you-go per team member on the AI Credit Details page, allowing users to continue working with Agent Mode even after their monthly AI credit allotment has been exhausted. When enabled, AI usage exceeding the included credits is billed at your plan’s specified rate based on actual consumption.

  • How will charges for pay-as-you-go, the consumption-based pricing on AI credit overages, appear?

Pay-as-you-go charges appear on your team’s next monthly invoice as a separate line item under AI credit usage. They’re billed as a total at the team level, not listed per seat

  • Where can I disable Agent Mode for my entire team?

For Enterprise teams, Postman AI can be enabled/disabled at the team level. However, for non-Enterprise teams, Postman AI is an individual user setting that can be toggled in Settings > AI.

Across all plans, Billing users can manage which team members are enabled to transition to pay-as-you-go once their monthly credits are depleted.
