Enable AI features

You can control AI-powered features in the AI tab. Toggle on AI to use AI in Postman. To use AI, you need to agree to Postman AI terms.

Code editing assistance

Toggle on Code editing assistance to get AI suggestions for code snippets, JSON formatting, and example responses in Postman.

Code Autocomplete

Toggle on Code Autocomplete to show autocomplete suggestions while working with scripts.

API keys

On Solo and Team plans, add your own OpenAI or Anthropic API key in BYOK for AI features to run Agent Mode on your provider account. On the free plan, this section prompts you to upgrade. For more information, see Use your own API key with Agent Mode.
