Manage monitor usage in Postman

Built with

Published monitor reports are available on Postman Solo, Team, and Enterprise plans. For more information, see the pricing page.

After publishing a monitor report, you can update it at any time. For example, you might revise the title or description, adjust whether request endpoints are visible, or unpublish the report if it’s no longer needed.

Update a monitor report

As a Monitor Editor, you can update monitor reports for the monitors you have access to. If you’re on an Enterprise plan, a Team Admin must approve requests to update a published monitor report.

To update a monitor report, do the following:

  1. Click Services icon Services in the sidebar.
  2. Click Monitor and select a monitor with a published report.
  3. Click Published icon Published monitor in the upper right of the workbench.
  4. You can update the title, description, and request endpoint visibility of the published report.
  5. (Enterprise plans only) Enter a message requesting approval from your Team Admin to update the published report.
  6. Click Publish or Request to publish.

If you’re on an Enterprise plan, you’ll receive a notification in Postman when a Team Admin approves or denies your request to update a monitor report. If the request is denied, you can review the reason provided and submit an updated request. You can also learn more about updating requests to publish.

In the upper right of the workbench, you can also select Options icon View more actions > Monitor report to update the report.

Unpublish a monitor report

As a Monitor Editor, you can unpublish monitor reports for the monitors you have access to. If you’re on an Enterprise plan, only a Team Admin can unpublish a monitor report.

To unpublish a monitor report, do the following:

  1. Click Services icon Services in the sidebar.
  2. Click Monitor and select a monitor with a published report.
  3. Click Published icon Published monitor in the upper right of the workbench.
  4. Click Unpublish to remove the published report.

In the upper right of the workbench, you can also select Options icon View more actions > Monitor report to unpublish the report.
