Ping Identity
To configure SSO with Ping Identity, you’ll need to configure a Ping Identity authentication method for your Postman team. You’ll need the configuration’s Entity ID and ACS URL to configure your SAML application in Ping Identity. You must be an administrator in both Ping Identity and Postman to configure SSO for your team.
After you’ve configured your Ping Identity identity provider (IdP) in Postman, sign in to your Ping Identity console.
Set up a custom SAML application in Ping Identity
-
Select the Administrator environment in your Ping Identity dashboard and add a new application.

-
Enter an application name, click SAML Application, then click Configure.

- In SAML configuration, click Manually Enter, then enter your Postman entity ID and ACS URL. You can also click Import Metadata and use your Postman SSO configuration’s encryption certificate.

-
Click Save to complete the setup.

Complete your Ping Identity setup in Postman
After finishing your SAML application in Ping Identity, you’ll need to enter the Ping Identity IdP details in your Postman SSO configuration:
- Enter the SSO URL, Identity provider issuer, and X.509 Certificate in the Identity provider details section. You can also upload the Ping Identity metadata file under Identity provider metadata file.
- Click Save Authentication.
