Learn how to integrate popular API observability tools with Postman to track API performance, identify opportunities for API optimization, and share monitor results.
Postman enables you to view application performance management (APM) metrics from New Relic or Datadog inside Postman. You can also use monitor integrations to send the results of monitors to Slack, Splunk, and other channels.
To learn more about how observability and monitoring support the API-first development model, see API observability and API monitoring, respectively.
APM integrations are available on Postman team plans. If you are on a Free individual plan, create a new team to view APM metrics in Postman. Learn more about what's included with each plan.
APM tools enable you to monitor the health and performance of your APIs. You can observe key metrics such as latency, throughput, and error rates.
Postman integrates with popular APM tools so you can view API performance metrics in the same place where you define and test your API. To learn more, see the instructions for your APM tool:
Postman Monitor integrations enable you to send the results of monitors to a variety of applications and channels, such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, Datadog, or Splunk. To get started monitoring your API, see the list of available monitor integrations.
You can also send monitor results to a custom webhook to integrate monitors with your specific workflow.
