Hoppscotch is an open-source API development ecosystem used for testing APIs. Postman can import collection and environment files exported from Hoppscotch.

Export files from Hoppscotch

  1. In Hoppscotch, click the more icon More icon next to a collection or environment and click Download icon Export.
  2. Select the location where you want to export the data and click Save.

Import Hoppscotch files to Postman

  1. In Postman, click Import > Migrate to Postman > Other.

  2. Select the Select data to migrate option.

  3. Click files or folder, then select the files or folder you want to import and click Open. If the Start Migration button isn’t enabled, make sure you’ve selected a valid Hoppscotch file.

  4. Click Start Migration. A message appears in the footer when migration is complete.

You can also drag files and folders into the import window.
