Get started with Postman Insights

Once you install and configure the Postman Insights Agent, you'll begin receiving insights about your endpoints within moments. From there, you can curate your endpoints into collections and observe performance trends over time.

To get started using Postman Insights, select Insights in the sidebar and then select Get Started.

A new Insights Project will be created for you.

Next, you will install the Insights Agent and select your deployment to configure the Agent.

The Postman Insights Agent supports the following tech stacks:

• Kubernetes
• Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) on EC2 and ECS Fargate deployments
• Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) standalone deployments

Important: If you're planning to run the Insights Agent on a standalone Linux instance of AWS EC2, log in to the server before running the installation script with a sudo command. For more information, see Install Postman Insights Agent on EC2.
