Akamai EdgeGrid is an authorization helper developed and used by Akamai.

To use Akamai EdgeGrid, do the following:

  1. In the Authorization tab for a request, select Akamai EdgeGrid from the Auth Type dropdown list.
  2. Enter your Access Token, Client Token, and Client Secret, using variables for extra security. You will receive these details when you register a client application with Akamai.
  3. Enter any information you need in the Advanced configuration section. Setting the fields in this section is optional. Postman generates default values in these fields automatically when your request runs.

When the required details are complete in the Authorization tab for your request, Postman will add them to the Headers.

For information on obtaining your credentials, see Akamai’s developer documentation.
