Agent Mode

This feature is available to users who consent to using AI.

Agent Mode is Postman’s AI-powered automation, built into the Postman app. Using natural language, you can do the following with Agent Mode:

  • Create and manage requests, flows, and mock servers.
  • Debug errors.
  • Write and update tests.
  • Complete other tasks faster across collections, workspaces, environments, monitors, Spec Hub, and web applications.

Agent Mode on Cloud extends this automation to longer-running engineering tasks, such as updating code repositories and running tests against your Postman collections and GitHub repositories, in an isolated sandbox with a full audit trail for every run.

Using your own coding agent, such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor? Coding agents work with Postman through the Postman CLI and agent skills. To set up your repository, run postman init.
