Postman Private Cloud
Postman Private Cloud (PPC) is a dedicated, single-tenant deployment that Postman manages on your behalf. It’s built for regulated and enterprise organizations that need greater control over where their data is stored and how it’s handled.
About Postman Private Cloud
PPC extends Postman’s platform security to give customers in highly regulated industries the assurances their compliance teams require. It offers the capabilities of the standard Postman platform with some exceptions. See Feature availability for details.

Postman Private Cloud setup
After you purchase a Postman Private Cloud plan, the Postman support team installs and configures your private cloud environment. As a customer, you need to configure SSO (single sign-on) and SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) for your organization to manage authentication and access.
To set up SSO, you need to contact the Postman support team and do the following:
-
Provide your identity provider (IdP) metadata file to Postman. Postman adds this information to your private cloud environment.
-
Postman in turn provides you with the service provider (SP) metadata file. Add this to your identity provider configuration when you set up SSO. To learn more, see Intro to SSO.
-
Once you’ve set up SSO, you can provision SCIM. To configure and enable SCIM, use the following URL:
Replace
<PPC_ENVIRONMENT_NAME>with the name of your Postman Private Cloud environment. For example, if your environment name isacme, the SCIM URL would be:
Once everything is correctly configured, your organization’s users can authenticate using SSO and have their accounts managed through SCIM.
